Advantages McMaster Science Co-op Students Offer
Well-Prepared Candidates: Co-op programs start in third year. This means students have completed five academic semesters and bring substantial academic knowledge and skills.
Career-Skill Building 1: McMaster Science Co-op programs are competitive entry. Before applying, all students complete “Skills for Career Success in Science.” This course builds their professionalism and helps get them ready to contribute effectively from day one.
Career Skill Building 2: When students enter co-op, they complete “Advanced Job Search Skills for Science Co-op Students,” before their first work term. This additional training ensures they are well-versed in professionalism and ready to add value to your organization.
