McMaster faculty members and affiliated researchers are some of the biggest employers of our Science Co-op students. They provide excellent opportunities for students to obtain hands-on experience in basic and applied academic research, project management, field work, analytical services, data management, clinical studies and with academic-industrial initiatives.

Hosting a co-op student can be a great way to assess the suitability of a student for future graduate studies, to support a PhD student’s or postdoctoral student’s ongoing work, or to complete a new independent project.

Let the SCCE do the work for you. We regularly post on-campus summer, fall or winter positions on our co-op job board, eliminating the time you would spend responding to student inquiries yourself. After posting we send you a bundle of suitable, high achieving candidates, and coordinate the interviews and offer process for you.
